Abstract. The article presents the international aspect of the activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine (hereinafter — NAES) over the course of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as the latest European integration and education processes, with particular emphasis on the international events of 2024. The author considers the directions of international cooperation in integrating the work of scientific institutions of the NAES into the European scientific and educational space, emphasizing such areas as organisation of large international events (conferences, seminars, roundtables, etc.); joint international scientific research; international presentation of scientific publications; international internships/lectures by visiting professors; implementation of the Open Science approach to research; and promotion of the scientific activities of foreign members and honorary doctors of the NAES.
Particular attention is paid to the implementation of long-term international projects, joint international research activities, and innovative projects, such as the spread of the Open Science movement. The author highlights the experience of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine cooperating with foreign members and honorary doctors, and emphasises its increasing effectiveness with the involvement of young scientists, as well as notes the popularisation of the international activities of the academy, and outlines its main forms.
