Анотація. У статті розглянуто явище дипломатії як базового інституту міжнародного суспільства. Наведено теоретичні підходи й перспективні методологічні способи дослідження дипломатичних практик у контексті сучасних безпекових процесів, зокрема дотичних до російсько-української війни.
